Fair Housing

The short answer

Gold Peach Realty, the publisher of Dahlonega Condos, supports the Fair Housing Act and equal housing opportunity. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status or national origin, and our guides describe buildings, records, rules and places, never the people who live in them.

Last checked October 19, 2026

The federal Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status or national origin. Our guides describe legal records, association documents, rules, roads and places so you can decide for yourself what fits.

Questions about who lives in a building or neighborhood, or about crime, are not answered here: we point you to the public sources instead of describing people. Age-restricted (55 and over) communities are a lawful exemption under the Act, and we would describe one only by its own published rules.

If you believe you have experienced housing discrimination, you can contact the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Rules, rates and approvals change. Every rule on this page links to the office or statute that sets it; confirm with that source before you rely on it.

Talk to a Dahlonega agent before you sign the contract.

Gold Peach Realty is the brokerage behind this guide. An agent can pull the recorded declaration and plat, request the association’s budget, minutes and insurance certificate, check the HUD and VA condo lists with your lender, and show you what is actually for sale in Dahlonega today, condo or not.
